ABOUT THE SERVICE:
Animal biting victims are investigated to determine whether the biting animal is possibly infected of the rabies virus.

As per City Rabies Ordinance 10-01 series 2010 1.Failure to keep their pet inside their properties, enclosed premises and confine in the cage or on leash (sec. 17j) a.First offense: P200.00 or one day community service b.Second Offense: P500.00 or two-day community service and confiscation of pet 2.Failure or refusal to have their dog registered and immunized against rabies (sec. 17a) a.P1,000.00 and their dog shall be seized/ impounded by the Animal Control Officer Additional P50.00 for pet registration |
