About the Office
The SP Secretary provides secretariat support to the City Council and its committees. It manages legislative documentation, public posting requirements, and accreditation assistance for CSOs/POs/NGOs. The office issues certificates of appearance and coordinates with barangays on budget and ordinance reviews.
By keeping sessions and records orderly and transparent, it enables effective local lawmaking. It manages reviews for land reclassification and compliance with procedural rules. The office strengthens accountable, participatory legislation.
