𝗢𝗡-𝗧𝗛𝗘-𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗧 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗧

1. Eligibility: Open to all students of Tayabas City: Junior & Senior High and students from City College of Tayabas (CCT) and ACEBA Science and Technology Institute (ASTI), and all participants must register in advance. However, only one student per school is allowed to join the event.
2. Theme/Prompt: Contestants will be given a specific theme or prompt at the start of the contest. All creations must be relevant to the theme.
3. Materials: CGAD will be provide the painting materials- Plain Painting Canvass Board with wooden frame (50cm x 70cm), 12-Color Acrylic Paint. Participants are advised to bring their own set of brushes, painting palette and water containers (for brushes cleaning purposes)
4. Scoring System:
Creativity-30%
-Originality of concept and execution; Innovative use of materials; Ability to think outside the box
Technical Skill-30%
-Mastery of techniques employed; Precision and attention to detail; Quality of workmanship
Presentation-25%
-Visual appeal and aesthetics; Clarity in conveying the concept; Overall impact of the display
Facebook HEART Reactions-15%
-Engagement and emotional response from judges/audience; Ability to tell a story or convey a message
TOTAL- 100%
5. Time Limit: Each contestant will have 4 hours to complete their project, starting once the prompt is revealed.
6. Judging Panel: A panel of judges will be appointed to evaluate the contestants based on the criteria outlined above.
7. Disqualification: Any form of misconduct, including but not limited to discrimination, harassment, or unsportsmanlike behavior, will lead to disqualification.
8. Final Decision: Judges’ decisions will be final and irrevocable, with no appeals allowed.

Mechanics
1. Registration: Participants must register online/in-person before the contest deadline. Listings will be posted to confirm eligibility.
2. Date and Venue: Contest Proper is on February 26, 2024, 1:00 pm at the Training Room 1, New Tayabas CIty Hall.
3. Kick-off: The contest will begin with all participants in a designated area. The theme and rules will be announced.
4. Material Distribution: Contestants will receive their materials and tools at the start of the contest. Any material requests outside the provided list will not be permitted.
5. Creation Phase: Once the time begins, participants will work on their projects. Judges/CGAD Staff may circulate during this phase to ask questions and ensure all rules are followed.
6. Submission: Upon time expiration, all participants must stop working and submit their creations to the assigned CGAD Staff.
7. Social Media: CGAD will post the entries in its official Facebook page to raise awareness on the event’s theme. Before reacting to the entry. Reactors should like the official Facebook page of Tayabas City Gender and Development- CGAD through this link: https://www.facebook.com/CGAD.TayabasCity/
Reacts will start on March ¬¬3, 2024 until March 27, 2024 12:00nn only.
8. Judging Session: Judges will evaluate each project based on the established criteria. Participants may be asked to present their work and explain their creative process.
9. Announcement of Winners: Results will be announced at the culminating activity of the Women’s Month Celebration on March 28, 2025 at the Silungang Bayan. Top entries will be recognized, and prizes may be awarded. 1st Place- P7, 000.00; 2nd Place- P5, 000.00; and 3rd Place- P3, 000.00.
10. Final Decision: The decisions made by the judges are final and binding, and will not be subject to appeal or revision.
