FRONTLINE SERVICE: Review of Barangay Annual/Supplemental Budget

ABOUT THE SERVICE: Budget Review is the 3 rd phase in the barangay budget process. Its primary purpose is to determine whether the Appropriation Ordinance has complied with the budgetary requirements and general limitations set forth in the Code, as well as provisions of other applicable laws. The City Budget Office undertakes preliminary review of the Appropriation Ordinance of barangays and make necessary recommendations for consideration of the Sanggunian (Section 475[b][7], RA No 7160).

SCHEDULE OF AVAILABILITY OF SERVICE: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

WHO MAY AVAIL OF THE SERVICE: Barangay Captains or thru their Barangay Treasurers, concerned Barangay Official

2. (a) Assist the Sanggunian in checking the Appropriation Ordinance together with the appended budget documents using the Barangay Budget Review (BBR) Form Nos 1 and 2 (Checklist on Documentary and Signature Requirements for the Annual and Supplemental Budget, respectively).

2. (b)Assist the Sanggunian in the review of Budgetary requirements and General Limitations and other Requirements using BBR Form No. 5.
