TAYABAZEN APP

Introduction
This privacy policy governs the use of the software application named Tayabazen App (“Application”) for mobile devices incorporated with the system procured and now being managed by the Local Government Unit of the City of Tayabas. (“LGU – Tayabas”) through its Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Section. The Application is used to provide the LGU’s constituents with a variety of online services. This app is integrated with the smart ID, which may be used by citizens to access services offered by the local government and conduct transactions with it.
1. Information Collected
a. User-Provided Information:
The Application allows users to log in to their pre-existing accounts with the local government of Tayabas City. To facilitate logging in, the application will collect the following information from the user:
- Mobile number
- PIN
Other personally identifiable user data may be gathered, such as user-identified product names and codes, service preferences, locations, and addresses depending on the kind of service the user uses, information may be gathered.
b. Automatically Collected and Real-time Information
Additionally, the application may automatically gather some data, including but not limited to the model of mobile device in use, its unique ID, its MAC address, its mobile OS version, and/or its location.
2. Use of Information
LGU – Tayabas City collects this information for the following purposes:
- To provide customized services to the user
- To help monitor and improve the services to users

The information collected is solely owned by LGU Tayabas City.
