MANDATE:
The creation of the City Legal Office is mandated by Republic Act no. 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991 and Republic Act no.9398 or ” An act Converting The Municipality of Tayabas In The Province Of Quezon Into A Component City To Be Known As The City Of Tayabas”
VISION:
A partner in local development , the City Legal Office is the law office and legal defender of the City Government of Tayabas and it envisions to be the epitome of quality legal service, pursuer of justice and protect the interest of the City of Tayabas.
MISSION:
To provide excellence, professional, ethical and efficient legal services to the City Mayor, Sangguniang Panglungsod, and other City Officials in relation to their official duties and functions. To avoid court litigation by making sure all actions by the City Government of Tayabas are within the bounds of law and its legal frameworks.
