The First Year Consistent Regional Outstanding Winner in Nutrition (CROWN) Maintenance Award was given to the City of Tayabas

Tayabas City, through Mayor Lovely Reynoso-Pontioso, received the Certificate of Recognition and cash incentive for the First Year CROWN Maintenance Award. Also with her on the occasion was City Nutrition Action Officer Manel Zaporteza-Chong.
The First Year Consistent Regional Outstanding Winner in Nutrition (CROWN) Maintenance Award was given to the City of Tayabas for achieving the minimum performance rating of 90.00 during the MELLPI Pro Validation Visit of the National Nutrition Evaluation Team.
This award is a testament to Mayor Lovely Reynoso-Pontioso’s advocacy to sustain the city’s efforts in reducing malnutrition and improving the nutrition situation. The major achievement was made possible through the efforts and dedication of the officers and staff of the CHO-Nutrition Office, the stakeholders, supporters and benefactors, and CNAO Marinel Zaporteza-Chong.
